In my clay work currently, I am particularly interested in using color extensively. Whether thrown or hand built, my work is a canvas for colorful composition, employing line, shape, space, atmospheric illusion, gesture, layering and whatever else comes to mind. Abstract Expressionism still informs me, also nature and the hard edges of industry. All my work is done in high fire, cones 9-10.
