I am a studio potter and retired ceramic arts teacher and live and have a studio outside of Dowagiac, Michigan. My current work is functional wheel-thrown pottery and I fire to Cone 6 in oxidation. Artist Statement: “I strive to produce in my work a quiet, sober strength. It is my desire to produce well crafted pottery which expresses devotion and love of the art, knowledge of the craft, and a universal simplicity.”
