Artist Samantha Purze was born and raised in Michiana Shores, IN. She received a BFA in Ceramics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and later completed a Ceramics Post-Bacc Program at Indiana University Southeast. Sam began teaching various ceramics classes in 2016, and as of this year she has exhibited her own work in 15 US states. Her professional objective is to educate and popularize the ceramic arts while developing her own work through continued studio practice.
